GMA The Heart of Asia brings another Lakorn drama to television sets with its latest offering, My Love From Another Star, starring Nadech Kugimiya and Matt Peranee.

But before we all fall in love with Nadech again, let's talk about the four reasons why you should tune in every Monday to Thursday night.

An ode to the K-drama

If you fell in love with the original Korean drama series, Nadech and his leading lady are giving a Thai twist to the popular tale.

Nadech plays Justin, an alien who comes down to Earth only to be stranded for 300 years after saving a woman in trouble. With only three months left before his long-awaited departure, he meets Stephanie, played by Matt, and realizes that she was the same woman he saved all those years ago.

Every great Lakorn drama deserves a great soundtrack.

For its Philippine airing, GMA Network tapped singer Nasser to sing a rendition of the '90s song, “You Were There” by Southern Sons.

According to fans, Nasser deserves the title The King of Lakorn OST and we agree. His version gave us goosebumps upon hearing it for the first time.

Masu Junyangdikul and Eye Kamolned Ruengsri in 'My Love From Another Star'

Aside from Nadech and Matt, supporting actors Masu Junyangdikul and Eye Kamolned Ruengsri also deserve praise for portraying their role in the series.

Masu Junyangdikul plays Mark, Stephanie's childhood friend who has an unrequited love for her. While Eye Ruengsri plays Leslie, the protagonist's other childhood friend who is jealous of her success.
